An idea I thought of asking about after seeing this version of the Terminator Theme done in a Spaghetti Western folk song style: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXPfA_gappc
Put simply, it'd be an alternate timeline (since we have plenty of those) with a T-800 sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor, as per the usual plot.
However, due to the TDE been damaged during the final fight against the Resistance, it malfunctions and effectively self-destructs - leaving it useless to the resistance who can only see when the Terminator has ended up arriving (hoping against hope that those in the past can find a way to stop it).
As a result, the T-800 is not sent back to May 12th 1984; it instead arrives 100 years earlier on May 12th 1884, around the time of the Post-Civil War Expansion.
Since the T-800's original mission of killing Sarah Connor is effectively null and void due to the time period it has ended up in, finding her ancestor in this situation would be more difficult (although not impossible as the Census did exist) and with the technology of the time not as great, the T-800 - having superior strength, durability, a 120-year runtime and a CPU adapted for rapid problem-solving - may simply decide to start hunting Sarah Connor's ancestor across the American Frontier.
As such, you may indeed have Sarah Connor's ancestor and a group of others, Magnificent Seven-style, working together in an attempt to take down this "Monster" (later a "Metal Demon" when some/all of the flesh on its face inevitably gets removed to reveal the Endoskeleton beneath).
So, do you think a Terminator comic story set in the "Wild West" could work?
Curious to see what you guys think.
Terminator:Dark Fate-Defiance.I've recently watched videos of it (as I don't have the opportunity to try it), and I quickly made up my own opinion.Basically, there is nothing wrong with getting an RTS game in 2024 (although it's not my genre) but the graphics leave something to be desired.I have the feeling that with a better story, this game could have gone much further (I wonder how well that works for an RTS.)No doubt I would have preferred an FPS game.On the positive side, I can mention the music and the sound effects! What in your opinion?
It could be a great possibility since Transformers and Terminator actually cross over so how it could be possible that Skynet found the material of the allspark or Transformer bodies and probably use the metal and alloy to create a much more Superior type but maybe the heroes known as the resistance properly use it to fight against them.
As far as the movies go:
Terminator I - 1984
Terminator II : Judgement Day - 1991
Terminator III : Rise of the Machines - 2003 *3/4*
Terminator IV : Salvation - 2009 *9/10*
Terminator V : Genisys - 2015 *15/16*
Terminator VI : Dark Fate - 2019 *19/20*
As of today I just finished watching "Salvation." However when going from "Judgement Day" to "Rise of the Machines." It said that John's mom "Sarah" passed away.
Didn't that happen in the TV show "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles?"
Are the 2 even linked with each other or is this synonymous to where the "Agents of SHIELD" isn't "canon" to the rest of the "MCU?"
However some of it "is" so maybe it is in it's own timeline/universe or something?
I Love Terminator movie's and games ❤️❤️❤️❤️
